- English to Spanish translator with particular assignment to translate The Associated Press’ explanatory coverage of elections and democracy, an effort focused on improving AP’s reporting on the U.S. electoral process and combating misinformation.
- During my time at the AP’s Mexico City bureau, in addition to working as a translator and becoming proficient in AP Stylebook, I also contributed several stories to AP coverage, including testimonies of severe human rights violations under El Salvador's state of emergency and the historic influx of migrants into makeshift camps in Mexico City in 2023–2024.

- Researcher of the Mexican Team of Fairwork: An action-research project that produces annual ratings of digital labor platform working conditions and scores them against five principles of fair work. For the final report, our team created economic and labor profiles of the major companies operating in this sector in Mexico using platforms such as Capital IQ and Panjiva.

- International consultant for the development of a study on the transportation sector in Mexico, including land and ports. For the final report, I investigated the primary transportation companies operating in the country, interviewed key stakeholders in the sector, and created extensive databases.

- As the Mexico City correspondent, I have been reporting on a variety of topics managing a great variety of sources, and generate new story ideas in a fast-paced environment. Some of the stories I covered dealt with the relationship between wildfires, illegal logging and drug crops; poppy cultivation and its impacts on rural communities; conflicts in communities with a presence of mining activity; policies on the prohibition of glyphosate.

- Producer and curator of the photography exhibition “¡Provecho! Geografías de la explotación y lucha en la cadena agroalimentaria” (2019), inaugurated within the framework of the International JySALA Congress, “Justice and Food Sovereignty in the Americas: Inequalities, Agriculture, Food”. The exhibition was displayed in the Museo de las Culturas in Mexico City in collaboration with Heinrich Böll-México Foundation and CEMCA - Centro de Estudios Mexicanos y Centroamericanos.
